AGENDA
MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
The purpose of the Workshop Meeting is for workshop
discussion between the Board of County Commissioners, the County Administrator
and staff for discussion and input regarding issues of concern impacting Monroe
County, Florida. The Workshop Meeting will be conducted in workshop format
without public speakers, except for those items marked on the agenda as an
exception that may lead to legislation in the future. Any communications the
public wishes to make to Commissioners on this subject should be made before the
meeting. The public is invited to attend but the workshop format will not
accommodate speakers from the general public, except as noted on the agenda.

A. Workshop to discuss the following key
issues with the Administration and County Staff:

Monroe County Fire Rescue status report by Fire Chief Wayne
Hinnant covering fire department issues, including personnel staffing, station
facilities, fire apparatus, and budgetary concerns.
á
Government Services Group, Inc. (GSG) will provide copies of the
draft fire assessment report, and will discuss the findings of the fire
assessment study conducted and provide options available to the County.
