CURRENT SITUATION:

Monroe County Emergency Management is currently monitoring Tropical Gustav.

LOCAL ACTIONS:

Monroe County Emergency Management has taken the following actions:
·       EOC Activation at Level 3 – Monitoring
·       The EM office will continue to collect and disseminate information regarding the weather conditions

Monroe County Emergency Management encourages all residents, visitors and interested parties to:
·       Closely monitor the depression through local weather reports
·       Review their Emergency Plan
·       Recognize that due to the location of this tropical depression, it may intensify rapidly and threaten the Florida peninsula necessitating the rapid implementation of all preparations and response plans
