"HOW DO I?" FOR INDIVIDUALS
Log in:
First time users: If you have never signed into the system, your initial sign-on will be:
ff********** (with the asterisk representing your social security number) and the word
"password" as your initial password. Once in the system we encourage you to update your
student profile. If you are not in the system then we encourage you to click on "create a new
profile" on the homepage and become a new user. Remember, if you have problems you may
call the fire college staff for assistance at 352-369-2800.
Check my profile and find my student id:
Under the "customize" header, click on my profile. You can change your password and update
your personal information. Your student id is listed in your profile and can be used for class
rosters instead of your social securj ty number.
Find a class:
Under the "locate" header, click on future class offerings. You can search by date, name of
class, etc.
Register for a dass:
If the class is at the Florida State Fire College, there will be a register button next to lhe class.
You can check your status by looking under the "registered courses" tab. If the class is at any
other location, you must contact that provider direct] y to see if they will accept you in the class.
Check my CEU's:
Locate the "History" header and click on the "renewal course history" entry in the drop down
box. It will list your classes, dates, and how many CEU's are applied to your certification.
Renew my certification:
Under the "apply" tab click on renewal application. Follow the prompts to complete the
application. You can pay for the renewal on line with credit card.
Apply to take an exam:
Under the "apply" header click on the "certification exam". Complete the application and chose
the date, time, and location that is convenient for you. You can attach any required
documentation and pay for the exam by credit card on line. After completing the exam, you can
find your results under the "Test Hi story" tab.
