The Group Insurance Office handles all issues in regards to an employee’s health insurance coverage, which includes: medical insurance, pharmaceutical coverage, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and dependent coverage. The Monroe County Employee Health Plan, our medical insurance, and the pharmaceutical coverage is self-insured and utilizes a third party administrator to process claims. The dental and vision insurance offered for election to our employees is fully-funded. For more detailed information or
