Interlibrary Loan Requests
If we do not have a specific book or other item in our collection that you would like to borrow, you can request an item through our Interlibrary Loan Department. Our Interlibrary Loan department will make every effort, through an interlibrary loan network to obtain materials which are needed, but are not available in the Monroe County Library System. Once we locate the item, and the lending library has it available, it will be loaned for a limited time period.

Interlibrary loan requests are limited to 3 outstanding requests at one time.

The Monroe County Public Library Interlibrary Loan services are available to Monroe County residents with valid library cards. Library cards are available at no cost to all persons who are residents of the Monroe County taxing district. An individual wishing to determine eligibility for a free card should inquire at the library’s circulation desk.

Please search our Catalog first to see if there is a copy available in the Monroe County Library System. Click here for the Library catalog.
