About Us
The mission of the Monroe County Public Library is to serve the educational, recreational and informational needs and interests of our communities. We have adopted the American Library Association’s Code of Ethics and Library Bill of Rights into our Library policies. A five-member Library Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss Library issues and opportunities.
