Sunset Point Park has reopened for the public after completion of the replacement of its boat ramp and dock. The park also includes a new kayak/canoe launch. The work was completed by Native Construction Contracting, Inc. of Tavernier. The work was partially funded by a grant from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Boating Improvement Program. The park’s opening hours are 7:30 am until sunset. The park is owned and operated by Monroe County.
