The Florida Department of Transportation District Six recently requesting the opportunity to appear before the Monroe County Commission at its December, 2006, meeting to present their annual Tentative Five-Year Transportation Plan for fiscal years 2007-08 through 2011-12. At that time they will ask the Board of County Commissioners to endorse this plan in advance of their submitting
it to their Central Office for inclusion in the Department’s Statewide Transportation Plan in January.
Public hearings are scheduled prior to the counties’ meetings to ensure that community participants are afforded the greatest opportunity to contribute to this process. Public hearings schedule is as follows:
