Hurricane Dennis Debris Removal continues
DRC the County’s debris removal contractor will be returning to the Lower Keys (South of Marathon) at the end of this week, and beginning the second sweep on Saturday (July 30th). Therefore, residents need to have all storm related debris at curbside by the end of the week. The County is asking that people on private roads have their debris out by Thursday of this week so that the Public Works crews can do another sweep and get it out to public rights of way in time for DRC to pick it up.

The contractor is currently working in the Upper Keys (north of Marathon) and they expect to finish the first pass up there by this Friday, July 29th. The second pass in the Upper Keys is estimated to begin on Thursday August 4th, which is the deadline for Upper Keys residents to have their storm debris to the curb.

County officals do not have exact dates/times that the crews will be in a particular subdivision.
