Gary Strait, Building Maintenance Specialist, Correction Facilities, Public Works Division, has been employed by Monroe County since June 25, 1990.
Mr. Strait began his employment with the County as a Maintenance Worker. He was promoted to Maintenance Mechanic in 1992, and then promoted to his current position as a Building Maintenance Specialist in 1994. He is currently assigned to the new Roth Building, where he continues to prove his knowledge, skills and abilities. His official personnel file is filled with letters of appreciation for his excellent work, including a Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Service from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Gary is a self-motivated, multi-talented and dedicated employee. He is one of few employees who have been Employee of the Month more than once; in May of 1992, and again in September of 1995. |
