Monroe County Public Works Division crews clear debris left by Hurricane Wilma at Higgs Beach. The hurricane brought rough seas and winds to Higgs Beach, accumulating water, sand and storm debris on beach sidewalks, entryways and roadways. Higgs Beach and Atlantic Blvd. between White Street and Reynolds Street are temporarily closed, until Public Works crews have completed their clean up and repairs to make the area safe for County residents and visitors to enjoy again.

For any questions regarding the project, contact John King at (305) 292-4531.
