2 New Engines for County Fire Rescue

Monroe County Firefighter/EMT, Mike Edgerton, gives Mayor Dixie Spehar and County Commissioner George Neugent a tour of a new pumper received recently by Fire Rescue Services. The engine is one of two new Pierce 2005 Saber pumpers the County purchased to replace older vehicles. They can pump 1250 gallons per minute and hold 1000 gallons of water. The pumpers will be put into service within the next few weeks at the Big Pine Key and Conch Key Fire Stations. |
