STATE ROAD LANE CLOSURES
Miami-Dade/Monroe counties
MM 126 (Florida City) – One lane will be closed in each direction at this location during non-peak
daytime hours (9 AM -3:30 PM) on July 7th and/or 8th while workers modify a new DMS sign
recently installed in conjunction with the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Project. At least one
lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Please note that bad weather or other unforeseen
circumstances could impact this schedule.
18-Mile Stretch - The southbound travel lane will be closed in the vicinity of MM 113 between 9
AM and 3 PM on Wednesday, July 6th, while workers modify a new Dynamic Message Sign (DMS)
recently installed at this location. While this lane is closed, northbound and southbound traffic will
use the northbound lane alternately. Flag men will direct traffic through the area. Motorists might
experience delays of up to 10 minutes when traveling through this area. Motorists can use Card Sound
Road as an alternate route, but must pay the standard toll.
MM 106 (Key Largo) – One lane will be closed in each direction at this location during non-peak
daytime hours (9 AM -3:30 PM) on July 7th and/or 8th while workers modify a new DMS sign
recently installed in conjunction with the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Project. At least one
lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Please note that bad weather or other unforeseen
circumstances could impact this schedule.

U.S. 1 “The Stretch” Reconstruction Project
Watch for shoulder work and trucks entering and leaving the highway north of the Jewfish Creek
Bridge during both day- and nighttime hours.

The lanes on the Channel Five Bridge (mile marker 71) will continue to be shifted weekdays,
from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, through September 30, 2005. Crews are performing repairs to the
bridge substructure.
The northbound lane on the old Seven Mile Bridge will be closed at various sequential locations
weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, July 10, 2005 through July 19, 2005. A flagging crew will
be on site to direct traffic. Crews will be performing a bridge inspection.
