U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) Mile Markers 127 to 128
One northbound lane of U.S. 1 will be closed from Mile Marker (MM) 127 to MM 128 in Florida City, Monday through Friday November 2, 2009 through Friday, January 29, 2010. Work is scheduled for the non-peak daytime hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times and access to businesses will be provided. Please note this schedule is tentative and may change due to bad weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

However, the northbound shoulder approaching the Channel 2 Bridge will be closed to allow for construction of electrical power to the bridge. There will be one lane closed during the paving operations between MM 57.4 through MM 59.9.Paving operations are projected to start on Monday, November 9, through Thursday, November 12 between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Trained flaggers, and law enforcement officers will direct motorists through the work zone as necessary. In addition, travel lanes have been shifted to the north side of the road and narrowed from 12 to 11 feet in some portions within the project limits. Please exercise caution and obey the reduced 45 MPH speed limit throughout the limits of the project. Work being done underneath the Bahia Honda Bridge may require a lane closure. If required, the southbound inside lane of the Bahia Honda Bridge between MM 35.28 and MM 36.56 may be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays. This lane closure will only be necessary to fit equipment on the bridge for repairs. Please obey the speed limit. During the construction of the boat ramps on MM 34 and on MM 40 the parking areas will be closed. This project should in no way impact traffic on Overseas Highway / U.S. 1 / State Road (S.R.) 5. State Road 5 (U.S. 1/North Roosevelt Boulevard/Overseas Highway)
One southbound lane on U.S. 1 from mile marker 110 to mile marker 112 is closed Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through November 20, 2009.
One northbound lane or one southbound lane on U.S. 1 from mile marker 53.3 to mile marker 54.3 will be closed Sunday through Thursday, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., November 12, 2009 through January 28, 2010.
One northbound lane or one southbound lane on U.S. 1 from mile marker 53.3 to mile marker 54.3 will be closed Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., November 12, 2009 through January 29, 2010.
One northbound lane and one southbound lane on U.S. 1 from mile marker 47.5 to mile marker 49.2 are closed Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., through December 4, 2009.
