The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Citizens Advisory Task Force (CATF) was reactivated by the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners on 12/17/08, with the adoption of Resolution No. 488-2008.   Florida Administrative Code requires CDBG participating jurisdictions to create and appoint a CDBG Citizens Advisory Task Force in order to encourage resident participation in the development of plans, procedures, public hearings, and oversight of the jurisdiction’s Community Development Block Grant activities.

This task force is to consist of five members all of whom shall be county residents, and at least three of the five must be minorities, very low income, or low income; one appointment is made by each of the Monroe County Commissioners to serve a term of four years.
