Hi!
My daughter and I visit either the Key Largo or Islamorada Library locations at least twice a month. Both libraries have been very helpful in obtaining books from The Sunshine State Reader's List for my daughter.
We both enjoy your selection of books and also the educational children's magazines. I particularly enjoy the South Florida Book section. I have learned a lot about South Florida's history and the environment.
A suggestion from my daughter is posting a list of popular and/or new children's books arranged by age or school grades.
I have a request that I believe may help the library become more involved with the local community. I will be teaching approximately 20 children, ranging in age from 7 to 13, art lessons this summer. In August I would love the opportunity to matt and display one work of art from each student in either the Key Largo or Islamorada Library. Please let me know if the library would be interested in this idea.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
