I enjoy the children friendly atmosphere. Encouraging young readers is a high priority - but a bigger emphasis should be the middle school to high school readers. The library should be a "safe" place for kids - a place where they can access the educational resources that are available but maybe not in every home. We will be using the internet at the library - my son is "earning" time with good homework habits.
