Monroe County Application Process
Thank you for your interest in employment with Monroe County BOCC.  Please take a moment to view the job description for this vacancy:job description

Monroe County is conducting a fast-track search in the South Florida area simultaneously with the nationwide search.  Should an outstanding candidate be determined through the fast-track process, the nationwide search will be terminated prior to completion of the process.

We are accepting resumes for initial consideration of this vacancy, however a completed application will be required.

Please complete and return an original signed copy of the enclosed Authorization of Credentials Check form.download credentials check authorization

If you are asked to interivew:

Please have proof of your degree or transcripts sent directly to our office from the school.

If you are recommended for hire:

Please return a copy of your Social Security Card.  If you do not have one, you must obtain one from the Social Security office (paper document – no metal cards will be accepted) in the event that you are offered employment with Monroe County.

Please return a copy of your Florida Drivers License.  If you do not possess a Florida Drivers License, please be advised that you must obtain it within 30 days of becoming a Florida resident.

If you have not lived in Florida in the past three (3) years, it is necessary for you to obtain your past three (3) years driving record from the previous state or states you have lived in.  If you do not provide this information, you cannot operate a County vehicle or your personal vehicle on County business (driving maybe be a requirement of the job for which you are applying).
